Beach Party at Mirna el Chalouhi

After the recording of the Scrambled Eggs and Friends sessions (check here), the idea came of a double-trio, joining the post rock band to the pioneering lebanese improv group the “A” trio. Two days in the studio were enough to record what will become the second Johnny Kafta’s Kids Menu CD, BEACH PARTY AT MIRNA EL CHALOUHI. The music was mostly collective improvisations, with the exception of Koji Kabuto (Ya Akruto), a song created “for fun” by Raed Yassin and Mazen Kerbaj and that found its real scope with the version recorded by this double-trio.
